The Youth Committee of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM), an active promoter of youth rights in the workplace, participated in the 2025 edition of the National Youth Festival, held as part of Youth Week and organized by the National Youth Council of Moldova on August 16 in Chisinau.

During the event, members of the CNSM Youth Committee conducted interactive workshops and discussions dedicated to young people’s rights at work, providing participants with practical information and answers to questions regarding integration into the labor market.

At the CNSM booth, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about:

•             how trade unions support young people in the employment process;

•             initiatives aimed at assisting young professionals;

•             policies promoted for the protection and well-being of young families.

“We aimed to get closer to young people and show them that trade unions are a strong voice in defending their rights. At the same time, we want to actively involve them in the decision-making process and provide them with the necessary tools for a safe career and decent work here at home,” emphasized Emilian Glavan, President of the CNSM Youth Committee.

This information campaign was organized by the CNSM Youth Committee with the support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Moldova Foundation, a long-standing partner of CNSM in promoting the social and economic rights of young people.

Through its participation in the National Youth Festival, CNSM reaffirms its commitment to promoting decent work, solidarity, and youth participation in decision-making processes, thereby contributing to the development of a fairer and more inclusive society.
