On November 20–21, 2025, the 23rd meeting of the Executive Committee of PERC took place. The meeting was presided over by Igor Zubcu, who, as President of the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova (CNSM) and PERC, guided the work of the Committee.

The agenda included current issues affecting the world of work, among them:

  • the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market;
  • developments in Belarus and solidarity actions with persecuted trade unionists;
  • the defense of the right to strike;
  • preparations for the ITUC General Council and the International Labour Conference 2026;
  • PERC’s action plan for the upcoming period.

Through his role as PERC President, the trade union movement in the Republic of Moldova reaffirms its increasingly visible role in regional decision-making, contributing to the promotion of a social Europe based on rights, solidarity, and genuine social dialogue.

The National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova remains committed to supporting workers’ rights and strengthening international cooperation in the field of labor.
